Variants for bifacial modules — more yield for bifacial PV systems

You're planning a bifacial PV system? easyTWIN Steel offers special variants that ideal for bifacial solar modules were developed. The construction minimizes shading on the back of the module: support profiles and struts are positioned so that they are directly below the cell division lines or module connections and therefore barely cast any shadow on the back. At the same time, the spacing of the carrier profiles is selected so that the underside of bifacial modules is exposed to maximum light from floor reflections or diffuse light. The result: your bifacial modules can exploit their full potential and achieve a higher daily energy yield. Of course, the system is also for glass-glass modules suitable and has been statically tested as a complete set to ensure safe operation in the long term.

Durable “green” steel with Magnelis coating

easyTWIN Steel is made of high-quality, black steel (S320—S450), the one with Magnelis coated — an advanced metallic coating of zinc, aluminum and magnesium. This Magnelis coating provides a excellent corrosion protection and contributes to the sustainability of the system. This is how Magnelis achieves a up to ten times higher resistance against corrosion than conventional zinc coatings. In addition, Magnelis is expressly approved for use in aggressive environments (e.g. coastal areas, C5 marine class), which makes our Photovoltaic steel frame underlines. For you, that means: long-lasting protection and less maintenance — The Magnelis coating has a warranty of up to 25 years in solar applications, and repairs or regular re-galvanizing are virtually superfluous. Flexible foundations: piling post or concrete foundation

Not every terrain is the same — that's why easyTWIN Steel offers you three floor mounting options. On suitable surfaces, the support posts are used as Ramming post directly into the ground, which enables quick, cost-effective installation without major earthwork. Binding depths of around 1.5 m are usual, depending on static requirements. If ramming is not possible or only partially possible due to hard soil conditions or sensitive surfaces (for example on landfills, rocks or sealed surfaces), the system can alternatively be used with the anchor system or on concrete foundations be assembled. In the former case, the ram posts are driven flat into the ground and then steel rails are driven diagonally into the ground. In the latter case, the steel supports are bolted onto pre-cast concrete blocks or point foundations. All variants — rammed posts with or without anchor system, as well as the concrete foundation — give the construction high stability and durability. You therefore have the freedom to adapt easyTWIN Steel to local conditions. Even with difficult soils or high wind loads, your system is always securely and firmly anchored.
