easyBRACKET is an innovative mounting system from ALUMERO for photovoltaic systems on trapezoidal sheet metal roofs. Quick and safe assembly without pre-drilling

The easyBRACKET system enables particularly rapid installation of PV modules on trapezoidal sheet metal roofs. Each short rail is attached directly to the high profile bead of the trapezoidal sheet with just two self-tapping thin-sheet screws. There is no need to cut long mounting rails to length, and pre-drilling is also not necessary — the special drilling screws cut their thread directly into the sheet metal. This significantly speeds up the installation. At the same time, the screw connection is chipless, meaning there are no metal chips, which prevents the formation of rust on the roof.

Another advantage for roof sealing: Under every easyBRACKET short rail, there is already a pre-glued EPDM sealing strip, which reliably prevents water from penetrating. The EPDM seal and the screw sealing discs seal the drilling points without the fitter having to install seals himself. The result is a secure, waterproof attachment in one step. In addition, the EPDM components are weatherproof and UV-resistant, meaning that the roof penetration remains tight over the entire lifetime of the PV system. Overall, module assembly with easyBRACKET is quick for the installer and at the same time professionally sealed — ideal for efficient work processes on the construction site.

Horizontal module mounting & static advantages

easyBRACKET is optimized for horizontally mounted (in landscape mode) PV modules. The modules are clamped to their long side of the frame, which offers a considerable static advantage: The smaller span between the mounting points ensures that the maximum load capacity of the modules is fully maintained. This type of installation has a positive effect on module stability, particularly when faced with snow load and wind load. As standard, two short rails (top and bottom) are sufficient per module to ensure a secure fit — comparable to two continuous rails, but with less material.

The easyBRACKET system is suitable for all standard trapezoidal sheet metal roofs made of steel or aluminum. According to the data sheet, steel sheet roofs from 0.4 mm sheet thickness and aluminum sheets from 0.5 mm thick can be used. The trapezoidal profile height (high bead) should be at least 22 mm wide (25 mm recommended) so that the short rail fits optimally. The mounting screws are placed centrally in the high bead (at least 8 mm from the edge) to ensure a firm grip. Thanks to the flexible positioning of the short rails on any high bead, modules can be installed in virtually any length and width — the system adapts to the module dimensions without having to remove the rail overhang.

easyBRACKET is also versatile when it comes to roof inclinations: roof slopes of 5° to 45° are covered. The system is therefore suitable both for flat sloping hall roofs and for steeper industrial buildings. (Note: For very long module rows >12 m, a thermal parting joint of approx. 20 mm should be provided to compensate for expansions. Maintenance procedures must also be planned for larger roof areas — the Alumero Solar.Pro.Tool helps with this.) Overall, short rail mounting offers full flexibility on the roof and ensures a stable, statically tested installation of the modules.

High-quality material and durability

All easyBRACKET components are designed for durability and resilience. The short rails are made of EN AW 6063 T66 alloy aluminum profiles, a material with high strength and corrosion resistance. Small parts such as screws and nuts are made of stainless steel (A2-70) and are therefore also protected against weather conditions. This choice of materials ensures a very long service life of the system — ALUMERO provides a functional warranty of 25 years on the aluminum parts of the assembly systems, which underlines confidence in product quality.

The pre-assembled EPDM seals under the rails not only provide sealing, but also act as a vibration-reducing layer between aluminum and the sheet metal roof. This protects the roof covering and prevents contact corrosion between different metals. Sustainability with metagreen aluminum
