The easyMONO outdoor system from ALUMERO is an innovative photovoltaic substructure for open-space systems in fields, meadows or embankments. It is a single-post mounting system that enables maximum solar output even in limited spaces. Thanks to the clever mix of galvanized steel components and high-quality aluminum components (MetaGreen alloys), easyMONO combines maximum stability with sustainability. This system is particularly suitable for smaller solar parks and commercial PV systems of up to around 2 MW, as it offers quick installation, high flexibility and a long service life. The most important advantages, technical features and possible uses of the easyMONO outdoor system are clearly presented below.
A central feature of the easyMONO system is quick and easy assembly on the construction site. Thanks to pre-assembled components and a small number of different components, the assembly system can be set up with minimal effort. Solar engineers and installers benefit from the fact that everything fits and requires only a few tools. This increases assembly speed and lowers installation costs. In addition, no complex floor sealing is required — the rammed version requires the system without a concrete foundation. If necessary, the entire construction can just as easily be dismantled and recycled at another location, creating additional flexibility over the project life cycle. Overall, this means rapid implementation of the PV project for the installer and faster start-up of the open-space system for the operator.
easyMONO outdoor system used on hilly terrain: The single-post system adapts flexibly to uneven terrain.
The easyMONO outdoor system offers flexible installation options and adapts optimally to local conditions. Uneven terrain and inclinations are no problem — sophisticated adjustment options allow the module structure to be adapted to different terrain contours. Even on challenging terrain, the structure can be built stably without the need for earthwork for a planar surface.
easyMONO also has variable floor anchoring: Depending on soil type and project requirements, the system can either be rammed directly into the ground or bolted onto prepared concrete foundations. The rammed version is completely without concrete, which saves time and money and minimizes interference with the soil. Alternatively, the bolted version can also be used on point foundations where piling foundations are not possible (e.g. very stony soils or when dismantling without leaving any residue is required). Both types of mounting offer high stability and are designed precisely to meet local wind and snow load requirements as part of ALUMERO's project-specific statics.
Another advantage of the single-post design is the free use of space around the plant: There is plenty of space between and under the rows of modules for simple site maintenance — whether through machine mowing or grazing with animals. Since no sprawling concrete foundations or bulky double post structures cover the ground, natural vegetation is preserved and agricultural land can often continue to be maintained or grazed. The easyMONO system therefore fits gently into the environment and enables double use of the area (solar power and e.g. grassland use) without major additional costs.
The easyMONO outdoor system is designed for maximum durability and weather resistance. All components are made of corrosion-resistant materials — a combination of hot-galvanized steel and aluminum alloys — which are optimized for outdoor use. In particular, AluMeros come metagreen aluminum alloys for use, which have an average recycled content of ~ 80%. These secondary aluminum alloys combine high strength with a drastically reduced CO₂ footprint: During production, consumes up to 95% less energy and emits ~ 80% less CO₂ compared to primary aluminum production. With metagreen, ALUMERO is setting a new standard for sustainable PV mounting systems.
The materials used are also of excellent quality: The aluminum (e.g. EN AW 6063 T66) and the steel are certified according to international standards and offer high mechanical strength and excellent corrosion protection. In snowy or windy regions, easyMONO can be designed in a reinforced alpine version on request to withstand higher loads — this ensures that the system remains safe even under extreme conditions.
All of these factors contribute to an extremely long life of the system. This also has an economic effect for plant operators: Thanks to the robust construction and the value-stable materials (aluminum and steel), the easyMONO system has a high residual value at the end of its useful life. In addition, all components are completely recyclable, so that no permanent waste is created when the plant is dismantled. Overall, easyMONO thus offers a future-proof solution that combines ecological responsibility with economic benefits.
To further facilitate planning and installation, the easyMONO outdoor system is available in pre-assembled kit kits. ALUMERO offers standard configurations with different table sizes (modular tables), for example for 2×6, 2×12 or 2×20 modules per table. These kits already contain all the components required for module assembly — from carrier profiles and posts to module clamps and connectors — custom-fit and ready for immediate use. This means that installers do not have to laboriously collect materials; everything is included in the kit and coordinated. This reduces sources of error and significantly reduces set-up time on site.
The available kit sizes make it possible to implement open-space systems in almost any desired capacity — from smaller commercial PV systems to solar parks in the megawatt range. In particular, systems of up to approx. 2 MW can be implemented very economically with easyMONO, as the modular kits are optimally scaled and project planning is simplified. For larger open-space projects, ALUMERO can also offer solutions such as easyMONO Steel, although alternative systems (e.g. the two-post easyTWIN Steel) may be used above certain sizes — however, easyMONO completely covers the range of small to medium-sized solar projects.
Despite the standardization of the kits, ALUMERO attaches great importance to project-specific planning and statics for every system. With the help of the ALUMERO Solar.Pro.Tool or individual advice, every open-space system is planned and statically tested exactly according to customer requirements. Factors such as module arrangement, post spacing and foundation depth are calculated and optimized based on local wind and snow load values. This ensures that both standard kits and customer-specific configurations always offer maximum safety and yield. In addition, ALUMERO provides the mounting system with a generous Product warranty, which underlines confidence in longevity.
